1. Held with Gran Fondo World Championship

2020 Seorak Granfondo will be held in conjunction with the Gran Fondo World Championship.

The Gran Fondo World Championship designates one of the 20 events on the Gran Fondo World Tour each year as the Championship.

※ The Gran Fondo World Championship winners will receive a prize of € 1,500 each on the Gran Fondo World Tour.

※ The Championship Division runs only on the Granfondo Course (208km).

※ The Championship participant must pick up the number on the day before the competition(5.22). Bring your ID card (resident card, driver's license or passport)

2. Participation application by category, time difference start, participation fee differential

Until 2019, you could choose to take part in the ride without having to decide which part (Granfondo or Mediopondo) at the time of entry, but from 2020 participants must select what course(division) you will ride when you register.

We have improved the point that there are many participants, so we spend a lot of time waiting at the station and reflected the difference in the opportunities for using the station and various supports.

The departure time varies depending on the participant, and the participation fee is also different.

3. Rules briefing / Expo

The Rules briefing will be held on the day before the event.

Anyone can attend regardless of category.

-Date: 5.22 (Fri) 15:00-Korean, 16:30-English

-Venue: Sangnam Sports Park Multi-purpose Gymnasium (indoor)

4. Change of Special Feed Method

To save the time it takes to find special supplies at the Special Feed Station (3rd Feed Station), we use a car with a personal rack.

This is a proven method for marathon events with a large number of people, and is more efficient than box packing by number groups.

5. Granfondo 2nd Cut-off

Granfondo also makes a second cut-off at Seorim Intersection, 143km from the start. The cutoff time is 15:30.

After the cut-off time, you must board the bus (bicycles are loaded with vans) and transfered to the starting point.
